Automatic Meter Reader G -71 :
The G-71 AMR is an intelligent quad band GSM/GPRS modem useful for communication with various branded energy meters. The modem is suitable for long duration data transmission. It supports inbound/outbound/event based dialing and has built in RTC, memory and rechargeable Li-ion battery. It comes with RS232 port serial interface for connecting to the external devices. Viz. Energy Meters etc.
Modem is suitable for communication with electronic energy meters installed at various substation feeders, DTR, HT and LT Consumers. The system useful for remote energy meter reading via GPRS infrastructure. The modem offers inbuilt intelligence, by which data from the meter is read at designated intervals and forwarded to central station (as configured) for view and analysis via MDAS.
